Pure Nature is made by hand from completely natural materials. Clay is fired into stoneware and glazed with naturally obtained colors such as traces of walnut ash or ground volcanic rock. The unglazed surfaces are hand-painted, reminiscent of a wood structure in color and grain. The fine cracks in the glaze, cherished by connoisseurs as the craquelure effect, are complex and intentional for the purpose of creating valuable one-of-a-kind pieces.
