The included vacuum breaker with a 1/2'' NPT female connection prevents backflow. A pail hook is included too providing a convenient place to hang a pail or other service supplies.Additionally this faucet is engineered for maximum durability and uses quarter-turn Cerama cartridges with check valves to control the water flow. These cartridges contain ceramic discs that form a long-lasting water tight seal. When the lever handles of this faucet are turned the discs spin to allow water to pass through.
