About Thermoplastic Welders
The process of bringing together thermoplastic pieces using heat and pressure is thermoplastic welding. Thermoplastics become pliable overtime when heated to high temperatures, and then harden when cooling. During plastic welding the thermoplastic surface is heated to the melting point usually between 250°C and 500°C. When heated, the molecules from one thermoplastic piece bond with the molecules from the other to form the new welded structure. To help complete welding tasks, we have a plastic welding gun and a plastic welding kit selection. To enhance your operation so that it runs smoothly, we have gas welding outfits. We also have a variety of torch accessories such as torch and torch kits, butane torches and soldering irons and cutting torches.
