The jumper also allows the temperature to be adjusted during installation at 110 109 122 or 140 degrees Fahrenheit and it has a maximum permissible inlet temperature of 149 degrees Fahrenheit. This water heater is largely insusceptible to scale build-up and is suitable for both hard and soft water areas.Activated by a minimum 0.264 GPM flow rate it features an exclusive design with a flow sensor that prevents dry-firing and premature failure as well as a high-limit switch with manual reset for optimum safety and peace of mind. Its miniaturized turbine feeds the water flow rate information into the main circuit board. This water heater boasts a high impact polycarbonate plastic housing and an interactive backlit display. Its Direct Coil nichrome heating element is housed in glass-reinforced polyamide heating chamber which along with the tankless design heats water instantaneously as it flows through the machine for complete elimination of standby heat loss.There's no T&P relief valve needed and this unit can be easily installed with its 1/2'' NPT connections and compact wall-mounted design.
