To prevent premature draining of the included 9V battery, the gauge has a built-in automatic shut off feature that is set at 3 minutes but can be adjusted in 3 minute intervals up to a maximum of 21 minutes. The 10-foot whip hose with attached clip-on chuck makes it easy to reach recessed valve stems and to allow you to keep a safe distance when inflating high pressure tires.
