With a combination of heavy-weight noise absorbent acoustic foam pads, thermal tape, and dual side-mounted aluminum heat sinks, the luxurae hdss reduces vibrational noise and motor whine from any 3.5 in. Hard drive from 3 to 8 DBA and stays cool in even the most demanding conditions. For additional cooling, this product can be used with our 40 x 20 mm. Fan.
