About Safety Cabinets
Safety cabinets are designed to hold different types of materials that need to be stored and handled carefully. There are 4 distinct colors used to designate what type of hazardous material is being contained. Yellow cabinets are the most common type of safety cabinet and are designed to contain flammable liquids. Red cabinets are meant for paints, inks and other combustible liquids. Corrosive liquids are kept in blue cabinets and toxic pesticides and insecticides are housed in green cabinets. There are gas cylinder storage racks, and safety cans that also follow the special color coding for hazardous materials. We’ve got a great selection of safety cabinet accessories, too!.
