This synthetic elastomer sheet is made of a combination of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) and styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) to inherit the strengths of both materials. The addition of SBR synthetic rubber gives this thin rubber sheeting a high level of physical durability and endurance for use in demanding applications. This rubber EPDM has a 60A durometer, meaning that it is fairly hard, but still retains reasonable flex and pliability. The sleek, black EPDM is the perfect material to be used for commercial and industrial pads and bumpers, among many other possible applications. This black rubber sheeting also has a wide temperature range and performs well in temperatures from -40° F to 212° F, making it perfect for extreme industrial or outdoor temperatures. This 1/32" sheet rubber is the thinnest option available and works best for finely detailed applications. These thin rubber sheets are also available in a variety of different sizes and can be cut down for even more possible applications, such as making industrial EPDM seals and gaskets.
