About Reusable Respirators
If your job requires you work around hazardous gases and vapors you’re going to need a reusable respirator to prevent the inhalation of dangerous toxins. Roofers, painters, certain type of janitorial roles and those who work with mold or asbestos remediation need respiratory (or breathing) masks that protect them from the daily dangers of the profession. Respirators are approved for different applications, have different connections, use different types of cartridges and come in different sizes. Make sure you consider those attributes before purchasing yours. If exposure to hazardous gases or vapors is only an occasional part of your job, then a disposable respirator may be all you need.
