Polyethylene Strip LDPE, 3/8 x 1/16, 30 ft., Natural

Low-Density Polyethylene LDPE is used in some underhood areas such as windshield washer bottles and radiator overflow tanks. In non-automotive applications, it is used on ATV fenders, kayaks, canoes, dirt bike fenders and gas tanks, motor home water tanks, and agricultural water/fertilizer tanks. Because Polyethylene is very waxy, it is almost impossible to get quality repairs using adhesives. Welding is the best repair method for polyethylene. Polyethylene is naturally a translucent white color. No pigment has been added to make less visible repairs when welding natural polyethylene parts. This package contains 30 ft. 9.1 m of natural low-density polyethylene LDPE strips. Each rod is 1 ft. 30 cm long and 3/8th inch 9.5 mm wide by 1/16th inch 1.6 mm thick. Works with airless, hot-air, and nitrogen plastic welders.|Square edge profile resists curling during repair process.
