The kit also includes instructions on how to successfully install your new door lock or deadbolt. The patented template accommodates 1-3/8 in. and 1-3/4 in. door thicknesses. It also accommodates 2-3/8 in. and 2-3/4 in. knob and lock back-sets. No more ruined doors. Lock installation really is a DIY project.
