This unit includes a fully enclosed platform that complies with industry tie off rules allowing workers to work at elevated heights without having to tie off. The fiberglass construction is non-conductive for safe use around electricity and it is lightweight for easy transport and storage. To accommodate a variety of body types this safety cage is type 1AA rated with a 375 lb. capacity.The cage is easy to enter and secure shut with the self-closing one-way saloon-style gate. It boasts a compact design to easily fit through a standard 30'' wide door. Plus the cage portion can fit through a standard 2' x 4' suspended ceiling tile grid. This unit easily adjusts to multiple heights using the durable cast aluminum Rock Lock adjusters. Once finished the descent control rope brake system ensures a controlled lowering of the ladder sections.This unit includes independently telescoping sides that adjust for safe operation on sloping ground uneven surfaces and stairs. Plus it has ratchet levelers that adjust up to 8 5/8'' in increments of 1/4'' for effortless leveling on uneven terrain. It has 1'' wide climbing rungs to comfortably reach the large platform. The enclosed platform features netting and a toe board to keep objects from falling onto workers below.
