About Drum Lifting Trucks & Dispensers
Drum lifters and dispensers (AKA drum dumpers) lift, transport, and/or dispense the contents of drums. Drums can be lifted by cranes, forklifts, or by specialized hand truck or drum dolly devices. We supply options and specialized attachments and systems for each. Cranes, and sometimes forklifts, use slings or ratchet straps to suspend and transport the drums. Ratchet straps fit below the lip just under the drum covers, or just under the first rib of the drum. These straps ratchet snugly into place to allow for lifting and dispensing.
