About Lever Chain Hoists
If you frequently need to raise and lower heavy loads at your job site, then you probably need some kind of hoist. Manual hoists are available in two styles: hand chain hoists, that attach to a beam for vertical lifting, and lever tools that are used for pulling, lifting, dragging, and positioning. Electric hoists are normally sold in single, dual and three phase power levels, have easy-to-use controls and can lift much heavier loads than manual hoists.
