THE WORK SURFACE OF THIS WORKBENCH GAINS ADDED STRENGTH FROM THE SUBSTANTIAL WOODEN CORE ENCLOSED IN WELDED STAINLESS STEEL. THE PARTICLE BOARD CORE IS 1-1/2" THICK WITH A PHENOLIC BACKER FOR USE IN CLEANROOMS AND FOOD SERVICE APPLICATIONS. TYPE 304 BRUSHED STAINLESS STEEL IS HIGHLY CORROSION-RESISTANT AND HAS POLISHED SMOOTH SAFETY EDGES AND CORNERS. THE FLARED FIXED-HEIGHT LEGS ARE MADE OF ALL-WELDED STEEL CHANNEL CONSTRUCTION, UNDERCOATED TO RESIST RUST WITH A GRAY POWDER COAT FINISH. THE BENCH STRINGER COMES WITH MOUNTING HARDWARE TO ASSEMBLE LEGS TO THE BENCHTOP.
