A chemical reduction process that uses the carbon granules oleophilic surface to attract organic compounds and non-polar contaminants, which they ADSORB onto their surfaces. Effective for reducing THMs, organic contaminants like chlorinated solvents, pesticides, and other industrial pollutants. The polishing scrub utilizes pressure to force-diffuse your water throughout the filter's vast micro-pore mesh, reducing dangerous and aesthetic contaminants.
