They have a round shank and more sharply angled threads than other thread-forming screws so they require less driving torque and reduce the risk of cracking thin plastic. A Torx drive allows you to apply extra force with less slippage or damage to the recess. Length is measured from under the head.Style A screws are also known as Delta PT screws.
