Description
Serrations under the head act as a brake to prevent over tightening and damaging threads. Also known as needle point screws they're designed with a pointed tip to pierce a starter hole in sheets up to 0.050 thick. They have a hex head for a secure grip with a wrench and a flange to reduce the risk of crushing thin metal. Made from steel a zinc plating provides corrosion resistance in wet environments. Length is measured from under the flange. Head height includes the flange.
