Description
These aluminum inserts are 70% lighter than brass inserts electrically conductive and nonmagnetic. They have good corrosion resistance which is comparable to brass but not as good as stainless steel. The flange provides a load-bearing surface and acts as an electrical contact. Press them into a drilled hole then install a screw to expand the insert and drive the knurls into the surrounding plastic to keep it secure. Installed length includes the flange.
