Chicago® Grip with Latch 0.37-Inch Cable

Designed for use on aluminum, copper, weatherproof coated wire, PVC covered conductors and messenger and guy strand. The Chicago style grip was designed for cable sizes from 0.12-Inch to 1.0-Inch (3.10 to 25.4 mm). Hot-line grips for both bare and insulated conductors. Grip may be placed on wire with hot-line stick. When stick is removed, latch closes automatically to guard against grip accidentally disengaging from wire. Standard hot-line grips are not supplied with springs or lock-open features. Grip safely holds 0.16 - 0.55-Inch Dia cables. Withstands maximum safe load of 8000-Pound. Hot-line grip to firmly hold steel stranded cable. Locking handle keeps jaw open while grip is placed on cable with a hot stick.
