The blade strips the jacket, buffer coating and cable to glass fiber. This stripping tool can handle 1.6 - 3mm diameter fibers as well as 900 - 250 micron to 125 micron sizes of optical fibers. It has a thermoplastic rubber handle for added comfort and grip during use. With an overall length of 6 in., this stripping tool is easy to maneuver into tight spaces.
