Description
Place a cotter pin through the hole in the shank to keep a nut from loosening pins and nuts sold separately. These screws have a stronger hold than screws with thread lockers or lock washers. Screws are made to stringent Army-Navy specifications that ensure performance and reliability. They have a precisely measured unthreaded portion grip. For added strength place this portion in joints subjected to sideways forces. The cadmium plating provides good corrosion resistance to salt water. Screws have fine threads which are closely spaced to prevent loosening from vibration; they are not compatible with coarse or extra-fine threads. Length is measured from under the head.
