Once the safe is unlocked the large polished steel handle on each locker door makes them easy to open and close. A lock-out mode provides an additional layer of security by deactivating the keypads after 4 unsuccessful entry attempts followed by a 5-minute wait period before a new attempt to enter the safe may be made.**This heavy-walled safe is constructed of solid 11-gauge steel. It has 4 mounting holes pre-drilled into the bottom. This allows you to anchor the safe directly to the floor to render it immovable and therefore even more secure.
